I can’t remember where I got his costume, but here’s another link for it. He was WERKIN’ IT and it made my whole life. NOW ARE YOU READY FOR THE BEST PART?!!! Let me introduce Granny Brian haaahahahhaa He’s so cute, can you tell how sweet he is from his pictures? The only things I needed for his costume were suspenders and the axe (Amazon), the rest came from his closet and they’re all from Gap! I just used this palette for the brown and then took a black and brown eyeliner to draw on some whiskers. Now let me introduce you to my sweet little wood cutter. Savy, GAHH! Every woman wishes for your brows and lashes! Thought they added a nice little touch to my costume, what do you think?! We’ve had them for years and they’ve definitely been a favorite with the play kitchen. The cookies are Melissa and Doug, also from Amazon. I got this 50’s dress and apron from Amazon. Everything was SO much cheaper when I bought them than they are now! And quick tip: buy your costumes in September.

The ears came from Great Wolf Lodge when we went there a few years ago. I searched high and low for cute ones, there’s a lot of terrible wolf costumes out there haha!!! I didn’t want to custom make anything or spend a fortune on Etsy so when I stumbled on these guys I was so happy! They come with head pieces but I thought it was cuter to just have little ears on the boys. I turned myself into the mom with the cookies and we had two wolves instead of one, which actually turned out really cute…

As I was adding up all the characters in the story I realized we had too many people. I’m new to their site but so far have had a great experience and their costumes are really pretty, all made out of nice fabric with great detail. I found THE cutest Little Red Riding Hood costume from Chasing Fireflies. But I can’t even talk about that right now ?!įor our family Halloween costumes this year we went with the classic fairytale Little Red Riding Hood. Either way, I cherish these photos so much and am going to be so sad when my kids don’t want to participate. Or maybe I just need to make a little Shutterfly book with them all. One of these days I’ll make a gallery wall out of all these pictures and hang it up every October. Last year we did Ghostbusters, the year before that we dressed up as characters from Pokemon Go and the year before that, the year that started it all, we did Star Wars. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!! I don’t know what it is about family Halloween costumes but I just can’t get enough.
